HOW TO BEAT THE FLU SEASON

It’s coming to that time of the year again where everyone drops like flies with the Flu. Nobody want’s to be sick, so to help avoid this, Pinnacle Movement Crossfit 536 have made three life-saving gym rules!

1) IF YOU ARE SICK……DO NOT TRAIN & HYDRATE!

If you happen to be one of the unlucky ones who fail to evade the wretched common cold or the nasty flu, Do Not Train. Instead, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest. Not only will you recover much quicker, you will also save others from suffering the same fate.

2) WASH YOUR HANDS

The best way to avoid getting sick is to wash your hands. When you are in the gym make sure to bring a towel with you to clean up your sweat and any equipment use. We also advise that you use the alcohol gel provided.

3) REPLACE THE BORING HANDSHAKE WITH THE AWESOME FIST-BUMP

Scientists have found that fist-bumping can reduce the number of bacteria transmitted by shaking hands by up to 90%. So the action is not only much cooler than the traditional handshake, it is also much safer! Sound effects are optional.
